After repeatedly drawing in the same style, I felt that it was time to reapproach my method of putting pen-to-paper from a different angle. My illustration style evolved into more fluid lines, really bringing to attention the shape of the clothes, with sparser detailing on the model’s face & body, bringing an abstract element to the illustrations.

These top two drawings I made back in Autumn last year, with the original photographs featured in Vogue Italia. This was the start of my experimentation of a different process of creating fashion illustration. Focusing on colour and the details through quick, medium to thick pen strokes, creating strong outlines, giving a strong impression of the clothes through defined shapes.
In September, I began my marketing internship at Zalando, working in graphic design and on the blog, where I created posts on fashion trends and made collages with products available at Zalando. I produced fashion illustrations for the posts on trends & designers collections.
