Illustrating De Beauvoir Town

When it comes to illustrating my booklet on De Beauvoir Town, I need to consider what style I wish to convey – illustration is more than just putting pen to paper – so I have gone for classical pen & ink, to fit with the historical aspect of De Beauvoir Town.

Illustrations shown: Richard Benyon (owned the De Beauvoir Town estate), William Lyttle ‘mole man’, Balmes House, and semi-detached houses on Northchurch Road.
