This happy fellow is traditionally made out of prunes and is called Pflaumentoffel which means ‘plum devil’.

Along Prager Strasser is where much of the DDR-era architecture can be found. It is Dresden’s major shopping area, now full of recognisable brands that can be found everywhere.

Amongst this socialist architecture lies global chains of American Apparel, and as can be seen, Mango.

This building is now an Ibis hotel.
