My travels through Germany

I travelled to Cologne, or in German,  Köln, by train (via Brussels), catching an early train to Dresden the following morning, and then on to Leipzig, a short stopover in Dessau to visit the Bauhaus before going on to Berlin where I stayed the longest, then back to Cologne, and an extra night in Brussels due to the delayed train in Cologne causing me to miss the last Eurostar train, before arriving back this morning!

I noticed how the German landscape is very industrial-looking, compared to the not-so British one, due to the German manufacturing industry still going strong.

My train passed through Frankfurt-am-Main where I managed to catch a view of the so-called ‘Manhattan’ of skyscrapers…

A funny-looking hill somewhere in the middle of Germany…

Crazy-looking socialist architecture!
